Jeong-Hwa Park serves as the Ministry of Music at Community United Methodist Church where she is the organist, pianist, choir director, and supervises all musical accompaniment.  She has regularly appeared in recital venues in New York and Long Island. Her major performances include a New York debut recital at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, LeFrak Concert Hall at Queens College, Yamaha Hall in New York City, Old First Concert Series in San Francisco, and the London Piano Festival. Her recent chamber music performance for “Concerts on the Slope” in Brooklyn was broadcast on WWFM The Classical Network. She has won numerous awards including a Special Presentation Award from Artists International Presentations, New York; and first prize in The Joseph and Ida Klatzkin Contemporary Solo Keyboard Music Competition and the Arizona State University Piano Concerto Competition resulting in a broadcast of the concerto performance on Arizona public radio, KBAQ. She holds master’s and doctoral degrees in piano performance from Arizona State University. Currently, Ms. Park is an adjunct faculty member at Nassau Community College; serves on the piano faculty at Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at Queens College; teaches Suzuki piano at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music; and is a pianist for the Nassau Concert Choir at the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra.
