The Community Nursery School is a non-denominational early-childhood learning center. Founded in 1966 and housed in the Community United Methodist Church of Massapequa, the school provides high-quality, affordable nursery school education as part of the church’s outreach to the local community.
Our mission is to provide a stimulating environment in which children can grow, play, learn and feel good about themselves and the people around them.
Our programs are designed to enhance each child’s mental, emotional, social and physical development, by providing a place of acceptance and love, where it is safe to explore new ideas and feelings while learning to respect the ideas and feelings of others.
